Frerichs and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Division of Banking to present a Financial Literacy Town Hall on Dec. 12 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Co:Lab center, located at 7100 S. CHICAGO – To empower local residents, state Rep. Kam Buckner, D-Chicago, and state Rep. Curtis Tarver, D-Chicago, are gearing up to host a Fair Housing Town Hall with the Illinois Human Rights Commission and the Illinois Department of Human Rights. The town hall event will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 12 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the South Side YMCA, located at 6330 S. Stony Island Ave.

Joyce Mason, D-Gurnee, for a free workshop on service dog education and first-aid training from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on December 6 at the University Center at the College of Lake County in Grayslake.
