Katie Stuart, D-Edwardsville, are inviting area residents to bring old bills, receipts and other personal-identifying documents to be securely disposed of at a free community shred day, scheduled for Saturday, April 15 from 9 a.m. until noon at the Rec Complex of Fairview Heights, located at 9950 Bunkum Rd. in Fairview Heights.

Rep. Barbara Hernandez Announces Kane County Expungement Clinics

AURORA, Ill. – State Rep. Barbara Hernandez, D-Aurora, is joining Circuit Clerk Theresa Barreiro to hold two Kane County Expungement Clinics to assist Kane County residents with expunging or sealing records. The first will be on April 15, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, at the Aurora Public Library on 101 S. River Street in Aurora. The second will be on September 9, from 9:00 a.m. To 11:00 a.m., at the Gail Borden Public Library, on 270 N. Grove Avenue in Elgin.
