Latino Caucus to Host Town Hall at Northeastern Illinois University

CHICAGO – As a way to inform constituents about the issues affecting Illinois’ Latino community, the Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation (ILLCF) will host a Town Hall Meeting on Friday, Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 pm at Northeastern Illinois University’s Alumni Student Union Building, located at 3701 N. Bryn Mawr Ave. in Chicago.

“Silver Search” To Help Find Missing People with Dementia Launches, Stuart to Host Alzheimer’s Caregivers Seminar

COLLINSVILLE, Ill. – To raise awareness for a new Amber Alert-style system, “Silver Search,” designed to help law enforcement help find missing people with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease and provide additional resources to caregivers, state Rep. Katie Stuart, D-Edwardsville, is partnering with St. Johns’ Community Care Center to host a free “Living with Alzheimer’s Disease” seminar on Tuesday, Nov. 28 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Collinsville Memorial Library Center, located at 408 W. Main St. in Collinsville.
