Andrade to Host Free Shredding and Prescription Take Back Event

CHICAGO, – State Rep. Jaime Andrade, D-Chicago, is partnering with state Sen. Iris Martinez for a free community shredding and prescription takeback event at Roosevelt High School, located at 3436 W. Wilson Ave. on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 9 a.m. The event will be held in the parking lot of the high school, located off Leland Ave.

New Stuart Law to Extend Professional Licenses for Military Members and Spouses

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – A new law sponsored by state Rep. Katie Stuart, D-Edwardsville, will allow military members and their spouses to extend their temporary professional and occupational licenses while they are stationed in Illinois. The new law will also give the applicants the ability to reapply for permanent licensure while simultaneously being able to work.
