Vella Highlights Support for Local Jobs, Works to Pass Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Bill

ROCKFORD, Ill. – As part of his efforts to create and keep jobs in the Rockford area, state Rep. Dave Vella, D-Rockford, was joined by other local leaders for a press conference in front of the Belvidere Assembly Plant to support legislation incentivizing electric vehicle manufacturing in Illinois. The legislation provides tax credits to auto producers who add or retain jobs in an electric vehicle-producing plant.
