ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – As part of her efforts to keep her community safe by being smart on crime, state Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, helped pass a bill making a number of changes to mandatory supervised release and parole which will reduce reincarceration rates and help keep residents safe.
Naperville Riverwalk Project Receives $1.5 Million in New Funding
NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The planned Riverwalk South Gateway extension to the Naperville Riverwalk will break ground in 2024 thanks to a $700,000 gift from Edward-Elmhurst Health and $800,000 in state funding. State Rep. Janet Yang Rohr requested money for the project in the 2024 budget, which Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed June 7.

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – As part of her efforts to ensure that older adults have the resources they need, state Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, passed legislation creating the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Pilot Program, which was signed into law by Gov. JB Pritzker on Wednesday, Aug. 2. The program will begin on Jan. 1, 2024 and will connect Will County grandparents who are raising their grandchildren with relevant state-provided resources and services to ensure they are receiving the support they are entitled to.
