SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Working to cut back on hidden fees targeting taxpayers, state Rep. Dagmara ‘Dee’ Avelar, D-Romeoville, is supporting legislation that would prohibit income tax returners from charging a separate fee for returns filed electronically.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill.- In an effort to improve transparency for prospective homebuyers, state Rep. Dagmara ‘Dee’ Avelar, D-Romeoville, has introduced new legislation that would require sellers to include the known age of a property’s roof in the residential real property disclosure report.

State Rep. Dagmara “Dee” Avelar, D-Romeoville, is supporting legislation to provide extra support to seniors and other eligible adults who may be vulnerable to fraud or scammers. Financial institutions and their employees will be able to pause suspicious transactions, preventing any fraudulent transactions from being completed.
