Springfield, Ill – State Representative Stephanie Kifowit (D-Oswego) is proud to announce the passage of groundbreaking legislation aimed at easing the financial burden on disabled Veterans who need to modify their homes to accommodate their disabilities. Senate Bill 2751, which Kifowit sponsored, received unanimous support in the House, where it passed on Wednesday, May 15. The bill passed the Senate in April, where it was sponsored by State Senator Dan McConchie (R-Hawthorn Woods), and now heads to the governor for his signature.
