SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – As the deadline for the open enrollment period for the Affordable Care Act Health Insurance Marketplace quickly approaches, state Rep. Michelle Mussman, D-Schaumburg, is encouraging residents who are uninsured or underinsured to sign up for a health care plan.

Barbara Hernandez, D-Aurora and Stephanie Kifowit, D-Oswego, are partnering with The Kane Senior Council and the Aurora Police Department to provide free frozen meals to seniors on Monday, Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Aurora Police Department’s station located at 1200 E. Indian Rd. in Aurora.
