CHICAGO – To help local residents with their licensing applications with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), state Rep. Mary Gill, D-Chicago, will host an IDFPR “On the Spot” licensing assistance event at her district office on Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. at 10400 S. Western Ave. in Chicago.
“This event will allow local professionals to have direct, in-person conversations with IDFPR regarding their individual licensing applications,” Gill said. “From health care to real estate, IDFPR handles the licensing procedure for numerous professions. I’m excited to welcome them to our community to help people through the licensing process, especially those who are dealing with it for the first time and have questions.”
An RSVP is not required, and walk-ins are welcome. IDFPR representatives will be on hand to provide resources and answer questions about license applications, license status, consumer regulation and agency job opportunities. Gill is partnering in the event with state Sen. Bill Cunningham, D-Chicago, and state Rep. Kelly Burke, D-Evergreen Park.
Residents with questions in advance of the event should contact megan.repmarygill@gmail.com.
