Gill Highlights Manufacturing Month at Uesco Industries, Inc. with Illinois Manufacturers’ Association

ALSIP, Ill. – State Rep. Mary Gill, D-Chicago, recently joined the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association and local officials in a visit of Uesco Industries, Inc. in celebration of Manufacturing Month in Illinois.

“Manufacturers create thousands of jobs and are a critical component of our state and local economy,” Gill said. “These businesses choose to invest in our communities, and it’s critical that we maintain a strong partnership. By prioritizing infrastructure, education and other essential services, we can continue to attract development and good paying jobs.”

Gill joined a visit of Uesco Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer of custom-engineered crane and runway systems. The company, which has been based in Chicagoland since 1921, has been a staple of Alsip since 1978.
