OTTAWA, Ill. – State Rep. Lance Yednock, D-Ottawa, visited with Ana Koval, President & CEO of the Canal Corridor Association to discuss issues regarding conservation and preservation of the Illinois and Michigan Canal.

Serving as a member of the Agricultural & Conversation committees allows me a unique perspective on legislation that can affect a lot of local destinations. I value the opportunity to meet with organizations like the Canal Corridor Association to learn more about the issues surrounding local conservation and our waterways.”

The Canal Corridor Association is a nonprofit organization dedication to preserving history, nature and create destinations in the  I& M Canal National Heritage Area.
