ROSELLE, Ill. – State Representative Michelle Mussman presented the State of Illinois 100th General Assembly’s Certificate of Recognition to A&A Paving Contractors, Inc. (A&A Paving) today. A&A Paving received the recognition for their business transformation and triple-digit growth, which led to them receiving the 2017 National Contractor of the Year Award. The A&A Paving team was selected from nearly 20,000 eligible contractors nationwide.

In recognizing A&A Paving, Representative Mussman said, “This certificate is to acknowledge all of the great work you are doing in the community to ‘Pave it Forward.’ You are a great partner for all of us and I am excited to work with you in the future.”

Representative Mussman toured A&A Paving’s operations with co-owners Todd Eichholz and Bob Olson, met the A&A Paving team and discussed the challenges and successes of integrating new processes and technologies among their multi-generational workforce, as well as their ongoing leadership role in serving the greater community. “We’re honored to receive this special recognition from Representative Mussman,” said Eichholz. “We look forward to working with her to help others in our community.”

Eichholz, who joined A&A Paving in 2014, brings his experience and knowledge from the customer’s perspective as a commercial property manager, along with his youthful enthusiasm and desire to lead by example. Combined with Olson’s 55 years of experience in the paving and concrete construction industry, they’ve created a unique approach to managing their business and communicating with their customers. The A&A Paving team says they’re like a “brand new, 55-year old paving company.”
