SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Legislation passed by state Rep. Lance Yednock, D-Ottawa, that will protect seniors from fraudulent scams and door-to-door contracts is making its way to the governor for approval.
OTTAWA, ILL. – State Rep. Lance Yednock, D-Ottawa, and the Illinois Housing Development Authority have announced the development of a new affordable senior housing complex, planned to be opened in 2020 in the village of Ladd in Bureau County. The project will be located south of Cleveland Street between Chicago and Bureau avenues and should take about one year to build, from start to finish.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – State Rep. Lance Yednock, D-Ottawa, is sponsoring legislation that makes common sense improvements to the existing limitations placed on law-abiding gun owners in Illinois, including reducing the restrictions currently placed on members of the military and law enforcement.
OTTAWA, Ill. – State Rep. Lance Yednock, D-Ottawa, is supporting legislation that would lower property taxes for the surviving spouses of veterans who are injured or killed in the line of duty. Senate Bill 110 allows the surviving spouses of deceased veterans to receive the tax credit their veteran husband or wife would have been eligible for, even if the fallen soldier was unable to apply before death.
