ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – In order to ensure that young students have the educational support they need to succeed, state Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, helped pass legislation requiring public schools to institute full-day kindergarten over the next four years which was signed into law last week by Gov. JB Pritzker.

Rep. Barbara Hernandez to Offer Mobile DMV Services

AURORA, Ill. – State Rep. Barbara Hernandez, D-Aurora, will be holding a mobile Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) event at Sacret Heart-Simard Hall, 769 Fulton Street in Aurora, to offer servces like driver’s license renewals, state ID issuance and renewals, vehicle stickers, vehicle registration and Real ID services. The event will be held Tuesday, Aug. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Naperville Riverwalk Project Receives $1.5 Million in New Funding

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The planned Riverwalk South Gateway extension to the Naperville Riverwalk will break ground in 2024 thanks to a $700,000 gift from Edward-Elmhurst Health and $800,000 in state funding. State Rep. Janet Yang Rohr requested money for the project in the 2024 budget, which Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed June 7.
