SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – In an effort to prevent senseless tragedies, state Rep. Elizabeth “Lisa” Hernandez, D-Cicero, backed a series of commonsense gun safety measures which among others, includes a ban on bump-stock trigger modifications like those used in the Las Vegas tragedy to convert firearms into automatic weapons.
