Stuart Appointed to Elder Abuse Task Force, Highlights Elder Abuse Awareness Month
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – As June is Elder Abuse Awareness Month, state Rep. Katie Stuart, D-Edwardsville, is working to bring attention to the need to address elder abuse in Illinois, and passed legislation to create the Elder Abuse Task Force to help create a statewide plan to combat Elder Abuse. Stuart was recently appointed as the first member of the task force.

Yednock Welcomes New Affordable Senior Housing Development to Ladd
OTTAWA, ILL. – State Rep. Lance Yednock, D-Ottawa, and the Illinois Housing Development Authority have announced the development of a new affordable senior housing complex, planned to be opened in 2020 in the village of Ladd in Bureau County. The project will be located south of Cleveland Street between Chicago and Bureau avenues and should take about one year to build, from start to finish.
