ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – State Rep. John Connor, D-Lockport, is hosting a law enforcement roundtable discussion to engage law enforcement personnel on the state of the 85th district.
“As honorable and engaged leaders in our community, police officers and firefighters offer a distinct perspective on our area and the role that the state can play in improving the State of Illinois,” Connor said. “By hosting this discussion, I hope to learn new perspectives to uphold and defend our community’s best interest in Springfield.”
Connor’s Law Enforcement Roundtable discussion will be held on Wednesday, Jan.17 from 11 a.m. to noon at his constituent services office, located at 209 W. Romeo Rd. in Romeoville. The goal of the discussion is to exchange ideas that will better serve the safety and security of local families.
“The men and women who risk so much for the safety of our community deserve a seat at the table,” Connor said. “It is my goal to make sure that everyone’s voices are heard, especially those serving on the frontlines.”
