JOLIET, Ill. – State Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, visited with members of the Romeoville Police and Fire Departments at a local Coffee with a Cop event. The event was free and open to the public and allowed residents the opportunity to get meet first responders serving the community. Children also had the opportunity to climb and explore fire truck and police cars.
“When emergencies happen, children need to know that they can trust our first responders,” Manley said. “That is why community events, like Coffee with a Cop, are so important to building strong community relationships with police officers and firefighters. I am glad I was able to stop by and thank of our police and fire departments for all of their hard work.”
