SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – With 100% of sales from participating Jersey Mike’s restaurants going toward Special Olympics Illinois, state Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, joined colleagues in purchasing large orders of sandwiches for legislative staff last Wednesday at the State Capitol.

“Special Olympics Illinois is a terrific organization to support every day,” Manley said. “It’s also a busy session day in Springfield, and I’m happy to join my colleagues in giving thanks to our hardworking staff while raising money for a great cause. For those who are unfamiliar with Special Olympics Illinois, I encourage them to check it out and to see how they can support an impactful organization for so many families.”

Throughout the month of March, customers at participating Jersey Mike’s restaurants had the option to make a donation or round up their purchase in support of Special Olympics Illinois. As part of Jersey Mike’s Day of Giving on March 25, 100% of sales were donated to Special Olympics Illinois and the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games.

Special Olympics Illinois provides year-round opportunities in sports, leadership and health for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The non-profit organization provides free opportunities to a statewide community of more than 55,000 athletes, coaches, volunteers and more.
