SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – State Rep. Michelle Mussman, D-Schaumburg, is continuing to walk door-to-door throughout the 56th District to extend the services of her office to neighborhood doorsteps and listen to residents’ ideas, questions, and concerns about issues facing the community and the state.
“It’s more important than ever for me to be as accessible as possible to the people I represent,” Mussman said. “My neighbors want compromise from both parties, and so do I. It’s been over 700 days without a budget under Governor Rauner, and with every passing day, more harm is caused to Illinois’ most vulnerable residents. When people talk to me about the budget, they don’t want a Republican budget or a Democratic budget; they want a compromise between both sides of the aisle. I remain ready to negotiate in good faith and to work with both sides of the aisle, and the Governor, to pass a responsible budget.”
Throughout her time in office, Mussman has worked to remain accessible by walking door-to-door throughout her district, attending community events, visiting local schools and businesses, and hosting town hall meetings. Her full-time constituent service office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and can be reached at 847-923-9104. Mussman serves the 56th District, which includes portions of Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Elk Grove Village, Hanover Park, Roselle, Rolling Meadows, and Palatine.
