CHICAGO – State Rep. Kimberly DuBuclet, D-Chicago, is helping local residents cut their monthly bills by hosting a utility bill clinic alongside state Sen. Mattie Hunter, state Rep. Sonya Harper and representatives from the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) on Tuesday, Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Chicago Urban League, located at 4510 South Michigan Avenue.
“Many in our community have felt overwhelmed by rising inflation and the ever-climbing price of utilities,” said DuBuclet. “There are so many resources and programs available that can help utility payers bear these economic burdens, and CUB will be onsite to help people understand their bills.”
DuBuclet will partner with utility experts from CUB who will give attendees the invaluable knowledge that will help them save money on their utility bills and access programs that result in even more savings. Please bring copies of the utility bills you would like to discuss. The event is free and open to the public. To attend, please register in advance at https://form.jotform.com/252715830129052.
