Arlington Heights, Ill. – State Rep. Nicolle Grasse, D-Arlington Heights, is inviting residents to share their thoughts at a town hall meeting with state Rep. Mary Beth Canty, D-Arlington Heights, and special guest Speaker Emanuel ‘Chris’ Welch. Residents will be able to share their thoughts on the issues that matter most to them, including Illinois’ plans to fill the gaps left by the Trump Administration, healthcare access, public transit reform, and other key issues.
“The reason that these town halls are so important is they give us an opportunity to hear from our constituents and learn what issues really matter to them,” said Grasse. “Over in Washington, big decisions are being made with little thought, and everyday citizens are being ignored. In Illinois, we put our people first and that means holding town halls, listening to your concerns, and making sure that we know your needs as we move into session.”
Grasse will host the event with Canty and Welch from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30. The event will take place in Arlington Heights, at the Arlington Lakes Golf Club (1211 New Wilke Road) in the Hearth Room. The event is open to the public.
