ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. — Joining with state Rep. Nicole Grasse and Cook County Commissioners Scott Britton and Maggie Trevor, state Rep. Mary Beth Canty, D-Arlington Heights, is holding a Community Mental Health Fair on Sunday, May 4, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, on 500 North Dunton Avenue in Arlington Heights.

“May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and in honor of that, I’m happy to bring a mental health fair to our community,” Canty said. “People struggling with emotional and psychological challenges deserve all the assistance we can give them, and they will only have access if they know about the services that are out there. I encourage everyone in our community to come out so they hear from experts about how they can help themselves or their loved ones during difficult times.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to walk through the fair to learn about mental health services available in the area and stay for a panel discussion with Illinois mental health service professionals and policy experts.

For more information, please call Canty’s constituent service office at 224-248-8187 or email info@repmbc.com.
