ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. –State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, D-Grayslake is hosting a series of community discussions in local coffee shops to gather community feedback on the state budget, tax relief efforts and other issues facing the state of Illinois.
“While I am proud of my bi-partisan work this spring to pass comprehensive property tax relief and tax dollar saving government consolidation measures, I am frustrated that so much work remains to pass a responsible, balanced budget,” Yingling said. “I’m not giving up, and I’m not taking a break. I’m eager to continue my efforts to involve my constituents in the conversations about how to best move our state forward.”
With the Illinois House in continuous session throughout the summer, Yingling’s community meetings at local coffee shops will provide constituents a chance to learn about ongoing budget related matters, tax relief proposals and more. Yingling’s events are free and open to the public.
