PEORIA, Ill. – State Rep. Jehan Gordon-Booth, D-Peoria, is bringing the community together to recognize Peoria veterans and their families at her 14th annual Veterans Appreciation Breakfast, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Laborers’ Local 165 Hall, located at 4509 N. Catalina Dr. in Peoria.
“I look forward to this event every year because we’re fortunate to be home to so many wonderful heroes,” Gordon-Booth said. “This is a moment for us to come together and thank our veterans for their service, and to celebrate them with some great food and camaraderie.”
Attendees will receive a free, all you can eat pancake breakfast served by local celebrities and volunteers from Peoria Firefighters Local 50. Those wishing to participate are encouraged to RSVP at RepJGordon@gmail.com or 309-681-1992.
