DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. — State Rep. Anne Stava-Murray, D-Downers Grove, is holding a donation drive in support of ‘Toys for Tots’ on Thursday, December 7 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at her district service office, 633 Rogers St., Suite 110 in Downers Grove.
“The holidays are here, and it’s time to gather with loved ones and celebrate another year of milestones,” Stava-Murray said. “But as we do, it’s important we don’t forget those less fortunate. Many kids in our community come from families that aren’t able to provide the same kind of holiday magic that other families are fortunate enough to be able to take for granted. Please join me in donating to help more families provide the type of holiday season every child deserves.”
Acceptable donations consist of new, unopened and unwrapped toys—meaning still in manufacturer or store packaging but without wrapping paper.
