CHICAGO – State Rep. Kimberly DuBuclet, D-Chicago is highlighting the Ferrero Group’s new facility in the old Marshall Field’s building downtown, creating more than 150 jobs.
“With our smart policies, skilled workforce and unique culture, Illinois is attracting new investment and development every day,” said DuBuclet. “I know Ferrero will be a responsible corporate partner and value our community as much as it does its confections.”
DuBuclet, along with other local elected officials, attended a tour of the new facility. Ferrero will use the site to develop and produce new types of chocolates and other candies for the market. DuBuclet is excited to see the benefits that the chocolatier giant brings to the city and state.
“At a time when many are struggling to find jobs and make ends meet, I welcome any businesses that decide to set up shop in our community, especially one as accomplished as Ferrero,” said DuBuclet. “Ferrero Rocher makes some of my favorite sweet treats, and I cannot wait to see what they come up with next.”
