PLAINFIELD, Ill. – State Rep. Harry Benton, D-Plainfield, is inviting residents to a Senior Health and Wellness Fair on Wednesday, Aug. 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the C.W. Avery Family YMCA, 15120 Wallin Dr. in Plainfield.
“Join me for a free, fun-filled day of activities designed to promote healthy living and connect older adults with local and nearby resources,” Benton said. “As we get older, healthy living becomes more and more important to being able to enjoy our golden years. That’s why I’m helping to promote good habits and better living. I’m hoping we see a big turnout.”
The event will include health services, raffles and giveaways, complimentary refreshments and more. In addition to Benton and his staff, representatives from the Secretary of State’s office will be on hand to provide DMV and Real ID services to residents who register in advance.
