Stava-Murray Invites Residents to ‘Yoga in the Park’

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. – State Rep. Anne Stava-Murray, D-Downers Grove, is inviting residents and community members to a ‘Yoga in the Park’ event to be held at Fishel Park in Downers Grove on Aug. 24 at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the general public, will be led by an instructor and is expected to last between one and two hours.

“Many of us are trying to get back into shape and back into the swing of things after the pandemic,” Stava-Murray said. “Yoga is a great way to promote good health and fitness and is also a great way to get out and around people. I’m hoping for a big turnout.”

The event will be held outdoors. All CDC safety guidelines will be followed and enforced.
