EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – State Representative Katie Stuart, D-Edwardsville, will be hosting her monthly “Coffee With Katie” event on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Goshen Coffee Roasters, 6120 Shoger Dr., Edwardsville, IL 62025.
“‘Coffee With Katie’ is about supporting local businesses in our district while providing a relaxed and accessible setting for residents to sit and talk with me about the state and local issues which matter to them,” said Rep. Stuart. “I have always held that being accessible to constituents is a basic duty of elected officials.”
Stuart hosts “Coffee with Katie” monthly to provide residents with an opportunity to stop by to talk about their ideas and questions about legislation, state, or local issues. Additionally, Stuart will provide an update on her work in Springfield and give residents an overview of the legislation that passed this Session that ended in April.
“This event is a great opportunity to stop by to learn about my legislation and other major legislation passed this session,” said Stuart. “I encourage everyone to stop by and speak with me about what is on their mind and get an update on my work in Springfield.”
