Guerrero-Cuellar Statement on Testing Positive for COVID-19

CHICAGO – State Rep. Angelica Guerrero-Cuellar, D-Chicago, issued the following statement in response to testing positive for COVID-19.

“After experiencing mild symptoms over the weekend, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Thankfully, I am fully vaccinated and continue to experience only mild symptoms. I will isolate at home until I recover. In the meantime, I have canceled all events. I urge everyone to get vaccinated and boosted, get tested frequently, and continue wearing masks and practicing social distancing. That’s how we will keep our loved ones and communities safe.”

Rep. Guerrero-Cuellar will continue to test for COVID-19 and follow all safety precautions.
