SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – State Rep. Suzanne Ness, D-Crystal Lake, is hosting a town hall event on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Community Foundation, located at 33 E. Woodstock St. in Crystal Lake, and is encouraging members of the community to attend.
“It’s been a busy year and in keeping with my commitment to inform the public of important legislation, I am happy to host this end of year town hall as a way to stay connected to my district,” said Ness. “We passed historic legislation this past spring session, including the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act and the Electric Vehicle Incentive package; both of which will have long term positive impacts on the state.”
This will be the fifth town hall meeting that Ness is hosting this year where she will provide an overview of legislation and other actions taken to increase access to state services to meet the needs of the district. Time will also be made for questions and concerns from attendees. This event is free and open to the public. To RSVP, individuals can send an email to info@RepSNessIL66.com with “December Town Hall” indicated in the subject line or call her constituent services office at 224-484-8620.
“My goal as state Representative is to connect with the people in our community and be a leader who people can trust,” said Ness. “Having face-to-face conversations and being accessible to constituents is more important than ever.”
