Conroy Highlights Two New COVID-19 Testing Sites in DuPage County, Urges Residents to Get Tested

VILLA PARK, Ill. – State Rep. Deb Conroy, D-Villa Park, is highlighting two new COVID-19 testing sites for in Wheaton and Willowbrook.

“Expanded testing will help our state fight this terrible virus, keep us moving thorugh the phased reopening plan, and help protect the health of residents in our community,” said Conroy. “Throughout this pandemic, access to testing in DuPage County has been severely lacking. I encountered these challenges firsthand when I sought to get tested before returning to Springfield for the emergency legislative session. No one should have to face long drives or long waits in order to get the testing needed to protect themselves, their loved ones and their community.”

The DuPage County COVID-19 testing site is accessible through the County Campus’ main entrance off County Farm Road in Wheaton and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 7 am to 3 pm, or until 400 tests are completed each day. Residents must stay in their vehicle and be sitting at a working vehicle window to be tested. Appointments are not accepted and COVID-19 testing at this site is free.

Drive-up testing will also be available at Ann M. Jeans Elementary School located at 16W631 91^st St in Willowbrook on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 1 pm until August. Testing is provided by Pillars Community Health and insurance will be billed. Appointments are needed and can be made by calling 708-745-5277. Residents without insurance may call the same number to discuss payment options with a Pillars Community Health representative.
