Moylan and Murphy Tour Des Plaines Bombardier Facilities

DES PLAINES, Ill – State Rep. Marty Moylan, D-Des Plaines, and state Sen. Laura Murphy, D-Des Plaines, recently toured the Des Plaines Bombardier facility.

“It was terrific getting a behind the scenes look at the innovation Bombardier is bringing to the transportation world,” Moylan said “This company is doing some truly cutting edge things and bringing high quality, well-paying jobs to our district.”

Bombardier is a global leader in the transportation industry with over 68,000 employees. They specialize in railway transportation as well as business, commercial, and specialized aircrafts and are involved in nearly every aspect of the process including the design, manufacturing, assembly and servicing of their products. Their Des Plaines facility creates many local jobs and has been a major producer for the Chicago Transit Authority’s (CTA) rail fleet.
