Halpin Volunteers at Moline Township Activity Center’s Holiday Luncheon, Donates Free Door Prize

MOLINE, Ill. – State Rep. Mike Halpin, D-Rock Island, recently volunteered at the Moline Township Activity Center’s (MAC) annual holiday luncheon for local seniors and donated a gift to the winner of a free door prize giveaway.

“I had a great time attending the MAC holiday luncheon and celebrating the holidays with Moline’s senior community,” Halpin said. “I’m glad I could join in the festivities while helping out at this wonderful event. Seniors contribute so much, and it was nice to give something back to them, especially this time of year.”

The Moline Township Activity Center hosts a complimentary luncheon for the senior community every year around the holidays. Volunteers help set up and serve food, and donated door prizes are given out. Participating in events like this is part of Halpin’s continued efforts to reach out to the local senior community.
