ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – Committed to ensuring the health and safety of his community, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, is closing district office until further notice, but will continue to assist local families and seniors remotely.

“During these uncertain times, families can rest assure that my office will continue to function in a safe and responsible way,” Yingling said. “I encourage local families, seniors and small business owners who have concerns to email us, so we could do our best to connect them to resources to get through these tough times.”

Yingling’s full-time constituent service office will be working remotely until further notice and will be available during regular business hours. Local families, seniors, small businesses and others can contact Rep. Yingling via email me at repsamyingling@gmail.com. Local residents with concerns about COVID-19 may also call the Illinois Department of Public Health’s hotline at 1-800-889-3931 or email dph.sick@illinois.gov.

“We must all do our part to make sure our hospitals and health care professionals are not overburdened and put over their capacity,” Yingling said. “By staying indoors and following the advice of experts and community leaders, we will lower exposure and risk transmitting the COVID-19 virus to our most vulnerable residents.”
