Slaughter Highlights Attorney General Raoul’s 2019 Safe Shopping Guide

CHICAGO – To help ensure the safety of children this holiday season, state Rep. Justin Slaughter, D-Chicago, is encouraging parents, grandparents and anyone who plans to purchase  gifts for  children to consult Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul’s 2019 Safe Shopping Guide.

“As a father, I know how important it is for parents to have reliable access to information about recalls on products meant for our little ones during the holiday season,” said Slaughter. “That’s why I’m asking holiday shoppers to review the 2019 Safe Shopping Guide before purchasing toys and other children’s gifts this holiday season.”

Illinois Attorney General Raoul’s 2019 Safe Shopping Guide provides holiday shoppers with information on recalled children’s products including toys, bicycles, clothing and furniture. Slaughter is encouraging residents to review the guide before beginning their holiday shopping. The guide can be found by visiting www.illinoisattorneygeneral.gov.
