LOMBARD, Ill. – State Rep. Terra Costa Howard, D-Glen Ellyn, is encouraging residents to take part in a series of Citizens Utility Board (CUB) webinars that will help residents find ways to lower their monthly bills.
“The Citizens Utility Board has long set the standard for consumer protection, and their team has helped many local residents save money by cutting out unnecessary expenses in their utility bills,” Costa Howard said. “While we are all following stay-at-home orders, CUB is offering a series of webinar seminars to help residents save money on their cable and energy bills. In these uncertain times, every penny counts.”
The CUB webinar series includes:
- Reduce Robocalls and Cut Your Cable Bill, on Thursday, April 16 at 10 a.m.
- Illinois’ New Solar Programs, on Thursday, April 23 at 10 a.m.
- Energy Savings for Ameren and ComEd Customers, on Thursday, April 30 at 10 a.m.

“These webinars will be held every Thursday morning for the rest of April, so make sure to mark your calendars,” Costa Howard said. “I encourage all residents who want to know more about conserving energy and saving money to check out these free informational webinars.”
