Kifowit Announces March “Coffee with Kifowit” Schedule

AURORA, Ill. – Continuing her efforts to be as accessible and open as possible, state Rep. Stephanie Kifowit, D-Oswego, has announced the dates, locations and times for her “Coffee with Kifowit” events through the month of March.

“With this year’s legislative session in full swing, these community meetings give me an opportunity to hear directly from local residents about what actions they would like to see us prioritize while in Springfield,” said Kifowit. “These events also help us promote local businesses and provide residents a comfortable place for a casual conversation.”

“Coffee with Kifowit” events give residents an opportunity to speak one-on-one with Kifowit in an informal setting to discuss state topics, ask questions or share what issues they have with the state and local community. The “Coffee with Kifowit” events are scheduled throughout March on the Following dates:

– Monday, March 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Benny’s Place, located at 1158 Douglas Rd. in Oswego.
– Monday, March 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Panera, located at 2775 Showplace Dr. in Naperville.

“It is my responsibility as an elected official to be accessible and transparent to residents from all over the district,” said Kifowit. “Hosting these coffee events in different locations gives me the opportunity to hear from all corners of the district and I encourage anyone who has a question or concern about the direction the state is heading, please come join me for a conversation over a cup of coffee one of these Mondays.”
