CHICAGO – Area families interested in visiting some of Chicago’s world-class museums in the new year may be able to do so at no cost by checking out a free museum pass from state Rep. Camille Y. Lilly, D-Chicago.

“As chair of the Museums, Arts, and Cultural Enhancements Committee, I want to make sure our state’s historic and cultural exhibitions can be enjoyed by all,” said Lilly. “Whether your interest is in art, history, nature or something else, Chicago’s museum’s offer unique educational opportunities for students and adults alike.”

Any resident of Lilly’s legislative district is eligible to borrow a pass for up to five business days, subject to availability, to visit any of the following museums in Chicago:
• Adler Planetarium
• The Art Institute of Chicago
• Brookfield Zoo
• Chicago Botanic Garden
• Chicago Children’s Museum
• Chicago History Museum
• Dusable Museum of African American History
• The Field Museum
• Lincoln Park Zoo
• Museum of Contemporary Art
• Museum of Science and Industry
• National Museum of Mexican Art
• National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture
• Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum
• John G. Shedd Aquarium
