“My coffee events are a chance to meet with me in an informal setting and share your thoughts and ideas about state issues,” Walker said. “With many new laws now in effect and more big discussions ahead, getting feedback from residents is important. We’ve had great discussions at past events, and I encourage residents to join me for my first coffee and conversation of the new year.”
Walker’s community outreach efforts also include his monthly satellite office hours at local libraries. This year, a representative from Walker’s office will be at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library every second Wednesday of the month from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Jan. 8. Walker’s satellite office hours at the Mount Prospect Public Library will begin Jan. 16 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and continue every third Thursday of the month.
“If you ever need help with state services, my satellite office hours are a chance to meet with a member of my office to get the assistance you need,” Walker said. “There’s nothing more important to me than helping my constituents both here in our district and in Springfield. I look forward to speaking with residents about their priorities for the new year.”
Residents can also reach out to Walker at his full-time constituent service office at 847-749-1137 or Contact@StateRepWalker53.com.
