SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – As part of her continued efforts to stay in-touch with her constituents, state Rep. Diane Pappas, D-Itasca, held a community forum to discuss local issues and help set her priorities for the coming legislative session.
“I want to stay connected with everyone in the community,” Pappas said. “With their input, we can build a stronger Illinois together. People need more affordable healthcare, a lower property tax burden, and good-paying jobs that will pave the way for a thriving economic future, and I’ll keep fighting for those in Springfield.”
Pappas’s event was one of many “Pastries with Pappas” community meetings she has held while in office. She will continue to hold these monthly meetings throughout District 45 in 2020 to continue getting input from area residents. For any questions or thoughts on how to help build a stronger Illinois, Pappas can be reached at 224-520-8838, RepDPappas@gmail.com or on her Facebook page at facebook.com/repdpappas.
