Kifowit Releases January Dates for “Coffee with Kifowit”

AURORA, Ill. – State Rep. Stephanie Kifowit, D-Oswego, invites residents to meet with her at one of her “Coffee with Kifowit” events scheduled in January.

“These coffee events allow me the opportunity to hear directly from the community about what they believe needs to be done in Springfield to help combat some of the struggles they see facing Illinois,” said Kifowit. “Transparency and accessibility are very important to be able to represent our community while in Springfield.”

“Coffee with Kifowit” events give residents an opportunity to speak one-on-one with Kifowit in an informal setting to discuss state topics, ask questions or share what issues they have with the state and local community. The “Coffee with Kifowit” events are scheduled throughout January on the following dates:

–          Monday, Jan. 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Pomegranate Café, located at 55 S. Commons Dr. in Aurora.

–          Monday, Jan. 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Maxfield’s, located at 2290 Ogden Ave. in Aurora.

–          Monday, Jan. 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Benny’s Place, located at 1158 Douglas Rd. in Oswego.

–          Monday, Jan. 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Panera, located at 2775 Showplace Dr. in Naperville.

“I encourage any residents who would like to come speak with me in an informal setting over a cup of coffee to please stop by at any of the four coffee events,” said Kifowit. “Residents will also have a chance to talk about any legislative ideas they might have for the 2020 spring legislative session.”
