Mussman Invites Residents to Share Ideas for New Legislation

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – To continue her work to bring local ideas to the State Capitol, state Rep. Michelle Mussman, D-Schaumburg, is encouraging local residents to share their ideas for new legislation to help get the state back on the right track.

“I worked in a bipartisan manner to pass a number of significant reforms this year, but there are still many issues facing the state of Illinois,” said Mussman. “I spend my time knocking on doors and hosting events throughout the community to regularly discuss these issues with our friends, family and neighbors because it is important to me to ensure the voices of our community members are heard in Springfield.”

During her time in office, Mussman has worked to build a stronger Illinois by fighting to fully fund local schools, rein in prescription drug costs and working for more affordable health care. Mussman is asking residents to share their ideas for new legislation to help Illinois move forward. Ideas can be submitted to Mussman’s constituent service office at StateRepMussman@gmail.com.

“I am continually working to find creative, comprehensive solutions to the complex issues facing our state, and I want to make sure local residents’ thoughts to address these problems are heard in the Capitol,” continued Mussman. “I look forward to continued discussions with residents and local leaders on ways we can work together to improve our community and state as a whole.” 

Mussman represents the 56th District, which contains portions of Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Elk Grove Village, Hanover Park, Roselle, Rolling Meadows and Palatine.
