Yingling Hosts Animal Ambassadors at the Gages Lake School

ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – With the Gages Lake School’s summer theme focused on animals, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, helped supplement their curriculum by hosting a presentation by the Brookfield Zoo Animal Ambassadors at the school. The Animal Ambassadors brought various zoo animals to present to the students and emphasized how important the environment and conservation is.

“As a staunch supporter of the environment, it is vital to make sure that our next generation understands the importance of protecting our ecosystems,” said Yingling. “Having the students learn about conservation while also having the interactive experience of having the animals right in front of them is a great way to teach such an important lesson. I want to thank the Brookfield Zoo for this amazing program and all the work that they do to help the environment.”
