ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – Continuing his efforts to lower property taxes, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, hosted a Property Tax Seminar with Warren Township Assessor Charlie Mullin last Thursday. The seminar provided residents information on how they could appeal their property values, which could potentially lower their property taxes. During his time in Springfield, Yingling has worked tirelessly to cut property taxes for middle-class families. Yingling was a major proponent of the Property Tax Task Force, which will meet over the summer to identify ways to lower property taxes.

“There is no issue more pressing to my constituents than high property taxes,” said Yingling. “Middle-class families are struggling to get by with property taxes as high as they are. As I fight in Springfield to provide property tax relief, I also want to make sure that residents are able to take advantage of every option that they have to get their property taxes lowered.”
