LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. – State Rep. Mary Edly-Allen. D-Libertyville, recently visited with patients and staff at Alden Long Grove Rehabilitation and Post-Acute Care Center.

“It’s my responsibility as a State Representative to meet and talk to as many constituents as possible to better understand how I can serve our district,” Edly-Allen said. “I’m committed to meeting with residents where they are, whether it is going door to door in our neighborhoods or visiting residents in facilities like Alden, to hear firsthand the issues important to the people I represent. My visit to Alden gives me a greater perspective on the needs of our older residents that I will take with me to the capitol as I advocate for the best care possible for seniors in our community. Sometimes issues I can help with are as easy as making sure we keep all public places wheelchair accessible.”
