Reitz Shares District Office Information, Reminds Residents of Assistance Provided

RED BUD, Ill. – As the new state representative for the 116^th district of Illinois, state Rep. Nathan Reitz, D-Steeleville, is sharing his new office contact information and reminding residents of the assistance that his district office can provide.

“My goal as state representative is to be as accessible to the citizens of Southern Illinois as possible,” said Reitz. “My district office will remain a place for constituents to offer their thoughts and opinions on major issues in Illinois, and to reach out to should they need assistance with a problem or state issue.”

Reitz’s office will remain at the current location of 124 S. Locust St. in Red Bud. His full-time constituent service office can offer assistance with a variety of matters including legislative inquiries, FOID card applications or connecting people to the correct state agency. Reitz will be hosting events throughout the district offering opportunities to meet with him or his office to share any thoughts or for assistance.

“I want to make sure that all residents have the contact information and are able to easily contact me should they have a state or local problem that my office can help with, or to set up a meeting with,” said Reitz. “I look forward to talking to residents about what is important to them and how we can make Illinois stronger. Input from local residents is incredibly important and valuable as it allows me to be strongest voice possible for Southern Illinois in Springfield.”
