Mason Honors Locally-Owned Restaurant for Charitable Work

GURNEE, Ill. – State Rep. Joyce Mason, D-Gurnee, honored Stevens’, a family-owned steakhouse in Gurnee, with her “Good Neighbor” Business of the Month Award on Thursday.

“For 15 years, Stevens’ has delivered exceptional service to its customers and been a consistent supporter of our students and schools. We’re fortunate to have such a charitable, community-oriented business like Stevens’ in our area,” Mason said. “I’m thankful for the opportunity to give Stevens’ well-deserved recognition for its actions, and I look forward to honoring more local businesses for their good deeds as my “Good Neighbor” Business of the Month program continues.”

Stevens’ has been family-owned and operated in Gurnee since 2004 and regularly partners with area schools to host fundraisers to raise money in support of student clubs and organizations.
